![]() JOB MISSION:The Instructional Designer is responsible for designing and developing learning experiences and resources including online and instructor-led courses, workshops, presentations, guides, handouts, job aides, videos, and more. The Instructional Designer is part of the Global Talent COE in the Learning & Development function and reports into the Manager, Learning & Development. The Instructional Designer integrates learning solutions, user experience, visual design, and communication into all work that supports the Talent and HR strategy.This role will be required to be on-site three days a week in either Lawrence or Brighton, MA.MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES: Using adult learning theory, develops and designs engaging courses and workshops. Submit all required reports in a timely manner. Work with other Project staff in meeting the overall goals of the Project. Maintain ongoing communication with ORS Counselor, school personnel and family regarding progress of client.Īttend Intake, IEP/IPE, Assessment Review meetings as requested. Maintain ongoing communication with Vocational Services Coordinator regarding client evaluation or training process and progress. Liaison with business personnel regarding: support needs of clients placed client's work performance and building natural supports.ĭevelop and maintain relationships with business partners. Observe and record client performance and work behaviors and complete required assessment reports. Provide training and instruction that will enable clients to learn job tasks and integrate naturally into the business work routine. Implement classroom management strategies and provide ongoing communication to teachers and vocational services coordinator about course content and student progress.Īnalyze job tasks and work environments so as to plan appropriate training, supervision and support services for clients placed in assessment or work development activitiesĬoordinate community assessment placements with school, family, and business partners. The Facilitator works as a member of a team but reports to the Director of Transition and Vocational ServicesĬreate and modify work readiness curriculum for students with IEP and 504 plansĭeliver work readiness curriculum in high schools ( in person and virtual if needed).
